Dear Mrs. Andrea,

You are my daughter’s favorite teacher since she was young.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are never long enough!

You taught her numbers, colors, shapes, and alphabet;

Along with Bible stories, songs, and fun!

It takes a special person to do what you do best.

The playground talks and classroom chats were enough to let me know;

That you have Patience, Love, and Kindness high above the rest.

Once again duty calls and we obediently answer.

As you go your separate way;

Know you have a gift and you will always be remembered.

Today was a sad day for my daughter;

In a way that she does not understand.

We said our good byes; but I pray it’s not the end.

I would love to see her little face light up;

When she hugs your neck again.
