It Will Be Okay ~ Trusting GOD Through Fear and Change

This book by: Lysa TerKeurst and illustrated by: Natalia Moore is about Little Seed and Little Fox. Little Seed is comfortable in his Farmer’s shed until Little Fox out of fear for the storm, runs into the shed and knocks Little Seed out of his cozy package. The two become unlikely friends and the Farmer watched over  them even when they didn’t know it. One day, the Farmer picks up Little Seed and says, “I have a wonderful plan for you…” The Farmer plants scared Little Seed into the dark ground. Little Fox and Little Seed are afraid of the unknown but find comfort in each other as they talk. Unexpectedly, Little Seed pushes through the ground and becomes a sapling. Little Fox and Little Seed realize that the Farmer’s plan was good. Little Seed grew into a tall tree and Little Fox learned not to be alone and afraid. The good and kind Farmer was always watching over them.

I would recommend this book for any young children but especially those who tend to be afraid of change. This book has a great message of trusting in God during the unknown. The illustrations are unique and perfect for the story. Before the story starts there is a page listing 10 scripture passages, relating to trusting in God and not being afraid, that would be perfect for children to memorize. My girls both liked this book a lot.

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission I am required to disclose that Tommy Nelson provided this book for free in exchange for my review. I was not required to write a positive review and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
