As a mother of two girls; I am always reading parenting books and listening to other moms who have kids older than mine. Even though I know how girls work; parenting a girl is a completely different perspective than actually living as a growing up girl.

I am currently listening to the audiobook on CD–Dr. James Dobson’s new book “Bringing Up Girls: Practical Advice and Encouragement for Those Shaping the Next Generation of Women” (For those of you who have boys he has a “Bringing Up Boys” book also). I am half way through listening and am really pleased with the insight he gives. I am planning to write a more detailed review as soon as I finish the book. I just couldn’t wait to let you all know that I highly recommend it!
